Add Clock on termux

I hope you already installed the basic Tools every Termux have for hacking. So in todays post, we are going to see , how we add a digital Clock in our termux.

What is Digital Clock in Termux ?

A clock is something which tell us time. Digital Clock updated everysecond and Display output on screen.Digital Clock is the same package as Cmatrix, and it will show you a Beautiful Clock in your termux. and you can use this Clock as a Screen-Saver. This is just a package and it is Very lightweight so there is no harm in trying it.

Which Package to use ?

In this tutorial we are going to use a package named tty-clock .

tty-clock   is a cool highly customizable tool for termux. This Package Has multiple Options so in this I am gonna give you some of the most useful ones. Like to set it to 12hr format and how to align the clock in the center. as well as I am also gonna show you how you can make the Cursor blink.

Installing Digital Clock in Termux

This is a lightweight package ,so you can install it normally like all others package. Just use pkg command as described below :

pkg install tty-clock

Wait for sometime until  tool is installing on your Termux System .

Display Digital Clock in Termux

There are various ways in which you can use this tool and show time on Termux.

for simple, you can just execute the following command :

tty-clock

Output : 

Display Digital Clock with seconds in Termux

You can also display seconds in clock which is updated every second. For this just add the -s flag to command as shown below :

tty-clock -t -s

Output :

 

Display Clock in 12-Hour Format in Termux

tty-clock gives you an option to customize the display of clock. We can achieve this by adding some flags.

Just paste the below command and clock is available in 12-Hour format.

tty-clock -t

Change the color of the clock in Termux

If you want some cool look of termux Digital clock, instead of default green colour then you can use this command. This command will change the colour of the Clock displayed in the Termux. Just run this command.

tty-clock -t -s -C 1
